Succeeding in your international assignment is a lot easier when you have a coach in your corner. Find individuals who can provide insight into the opportunities and challenges of working and living abroad. Mentors might include:

Your manager
A colleague
A professional who previously served in your host country and is now based elsewhere
A member of a local expat association
